Andy Abramson

Founder of Comunicano, a boutique marketing consultancy providing clients with a full service agency, Senior Advising and Marketer-In-Residence services to start-ups, companies in transition and established brands with regard to marketing, advertising, public relations, promotion, events and reputation management. Andy brings a vast wealth of experience in telecoms innovation; from the early days of VoIP through to the current focus on WebRTC.


Hugh Bradlow

Chief Technology Officer of Telstra, which means he evaluates cool new technologies in the ICT space. Basically, his job description is to see if he can break new things and he succeeds quite a lot (unfortunately not always intentionally). He is a technology “tragic” in that it is both his profession and hobby. His night time job is providing tech support to his 3 children and his wife who treat all technology failures – as his personal responsibility.


Dean Bubley

Founder of Disruptive Analysis, an independent technology industry analyst and consulting firm. Dean can be relied upon to be outspoken, insightful and sometimes acerbic observations on the world of mobile technology – handsets, networks, operator strategies, applications & business models.  Dean ensures everyone steps up their game, as he will be first to point out errors in assumptions or thinking.

Jose de Castro

CTO @ Tropo where he drives the vision of their next-gen communications technologies backing Tropo.com and the PhonoSDK. Jose leads Tropo’s involvement in WebRTC standardization. Prior to joining Tropo, Jose was Chief Architect at VoiceReady, a graphical design and management tool for building telephony applications, which was acquired by Voxeo Corporation in 2006.


David Ferry

Chief Engineer & Founder of OpenCloud of opencloud. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science studying Java for Telecoms. He is the co-specification lead of the JAIN SLEE expert group and is a recognised expert in his field. David provides leadership for the engineering teams ensuring the technical implementations deliver the high-performance and quality required for OpenCloud’s carrier grade telecoms products.


Ivelin Ivanov

Technology entrepreneur who founded Mobicents an Open Source VoIP Platform to help create, deploy, manage applications integrating voice, video and data. He is the founder of Telestax, an Open Source Cloud Communications company that helps the shift from legacy IN/SS7 telco networks to IP based cloud comms. An early investor in many start-ups, he still finds time to code for his companies and contribute to open source projects.


Suresh Sidhu

Chief Corporate & Operations Officer of Celcom, responsible for operations across both Network and IT, Strategy and Regulatory affairs as well as the end to end business transformation of Celcom.  Prior to Celcom, Suresh was at Dialog Telekom in Sri Lanka where he held the role of Group Chief Officer – Enterprise & Global.  Suresh is a leader in telecoms that understands the critical role of telecom application developers to the future of the industry.


Mark White

Technology entrepreneur with a background in building markets for emerging technologies, products and services. He has more than 20 years experience in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industries throughout Australasia, South Asia, Korea, Greater China, Europe and the United States, and is a frequent and popular speaker at mobile industry events.  He is the Founder & CEO of Locatrix Communications, a leading provider of mobile web services & applications in Australia.
